You may have heard of the famous actor, Ryan Gosling, He stars in many movies such as
-Drive (2011)
-Gangster Squad (2013)
-Crazy Stupid Love (2011)
-The Notebook (2004)
-Blue Valentine (2010)
If you didn`t know already Ryan Gosling is a canadian actor, he was born November 12th, 1980. He began doing acting as a kid starring in the Disney`s Channel, Mickey Mouse Club. Through the 90`s Ryan was doing many small projects such as, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Goosebumps, Breaker High and Ryan Gosling also starred as young hercules, in the television show Young Hercules.
In early 2000`s he starred in his first `REAL` serious role, as a Neo-Nazi in the film called The Believer, but it wasn`t until 2004 when Ryan gained his fame starring in the drama, romance movie with Rachel McAdams called The Notebook. He played the role of a hard working man called Noah who later falls in love with Allie.
Ryan did act in many romance/drama films, but he also did many action movies as well. He starred in Gangster Squad. Set in the late 1940`s, a bunch of cops, try to crack a mafia case. After the police department gives up on them, a group of guys who want to bring justice to Los Angeles come together and call themselves the gangster squad. Doing everything they can to bring mafia mobster Mickey Cohen to justice.

For example the movie Crazy Stupid Love, he`s a cocky guy who gets all the girls and it`s a very comedic role. In the movie he tries to teach a middle aged man (who just recently got divorced) how to attrack women, instead of pushing them away. Here`s a scene below showing his confidence toward women and how he tries to coach his friend to do the same.
In conclusion Ryan Gosling is a terrific actor, and I hope he continues to do many more movies to come.

Did he you know he is also from Ontario!! Who would have thought eh! Loved the post, mainly because Ryan Gosling is one of my favorite actors... I guess I'm just like any other typical girl, but he is an amazing actor and I've seen him in so many movies. I love how you chose to do a research on him! My favorite movies that he's been in are definitely “The Notebook” and “Crazy Stupid Love”, but those are just fresh in my mind after reading this blog, there are so many more movies I've seen him in. I even find it's more fun to see him in older movies because we can see what he was like near the beginning of his career!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Ryan Gosling. He is a phenomenal actor and really puts himself into his characters shoes no matter what movie. Now I'm about to make a typical girl comment about Ryan Gosling... My all time favorite movie is The Notebook because of Ryan. He has a way of making me cry, laugh, and rage! I also heard that him and Rachel McAdams are actually together in real life? Or maybe it's just a rumor I'm not sure, but I do hope its true because they make a great couple!

ReplyDeleteYeah it's pretty cool that he is a canadian actor!! and I totally agree with you all he really knows how to ''be'' the character and if I'm not mistaken I think him and Rachel McAdams have dated in the past but I'm not sure about now. I also agree that crazy stupid love and the notebook really made him shine as an actor
